Branching away from the cryptid related subject matter of my first two albums, this one dives into the depths of the ocean millions of years ago to explore the sounds of marine life during a prehistoric era. Deep dark and brooding are the sounds heard throughout the album as we listen to the going-ons of 5 distinct predators who dominated the seas... yet the wonder and majesty of these creatures can be found here as well.
Layers of drones and textured field recordings make for a dark ambient album worth diving into.
After composing my track "Storm Over A Mesozoic Sea" for Ambient Online Themed Compilation 05 "The Sea", (ambientonline.bandcamp.com/track/storm-over-a-mesozoic-sea) I was inspired to continue on that particular journey and further enrich this particular world of prehistoric marine life.
